Chasing You
Bethel Music

this song is unreal.

i have it on repeat at a coffee shop i’m at. as the windows are open, sun shining through, there was a motorcycle that zoomed and breezed by…and everyone, with wide eyes turned to look with faces of curiosity and amazement. i think thats what people do when they see a person resembling what this song is talking about. when christ appeals through and the aroma of Him is noticed.

"The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you." romans 8:11

i don’t want to live like he’s dead. he’s alive & he lives in us.

"‘It is finished.’ May those words land on your bones for the nights when fear tells you the cross was a beginning & you must finish grace."

whoa.

it started in the spirit…don’t try to carry it out in your flesh..

i just told gia this morning while at a post church breakfast consisting of coffee, toast & lingonberry jam & oatmeal that if i were to document some of our favorite moments of this past year it would entail not photos of us, but our breakfasts spent at different places we explored to.

kvtes:

porch prayers while it rained this morning.

every so often even a picture like this, the richness, the depth, the story it tells, encourages me in my own walk with the Lord.

reminds me of a lady i met at a coffee shop once and i asked her about her tattoo- which looked just like this. she told me about her philosophy about life and how the question she always asks the Lord is “& what”. whats next/what else. a heart of never wanting to be stagnant, or content, always craving more of the Lord and His adventure and heart.

Nights near a fire place with Christmas music and reading are the loveliest.
